Governor Mead and the Wyoming Legislature have identified a need to insure that the corridors are set aside in the Resource Management Plans of the various Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming field offices and align to support anticipated future carbon dioxide pipeline infrastructure. Expansion of the carbon dioxide pipeline grid is beneficial to Wyoming as it will support growth in enhanced oil recovery.
A coherent set of rights-of-way corridors across federal lands as the preferred location for pipeline infrastructure. This initiative will develop a process that can be replicated for transmission projects and infrastructure corridor projects.
