Responsible energy development requires sound data and turning that data into information to inform good decision making and planning. Identifying critical data sources for use in project planning can require considerable investment in human and capital resources. These activities can be streamlined and assisted through appropriate uses of technology. The Governor’s Office will coordinate the development team for the Energy Atlas and coordinate with the Energy and Natural Resource Sub-cabinet and the GIS Oversight/Governance Committee for management of the project timelines, deliverables and development of appropriate interagency agreements.
